Gnoll Estate Country Park

Gnoll Estate was once owned by a wealthy industrial family, the Mackworths, who lavished their fortune on this mansion and country estate. Their grand home has long since been demolished, leaving behind a set of pretty ruins. The estate however, has been developed into a beautiful country park full of open green spaces, lakes, wild woodlands and cascades.
Attractions include a visitor centre and café, a children’s play area that’s suitable for disabled children, adventure playground, fishing, footgolf and pitch-and-putt. It also hosts the weekly 5km Parkrun.
