Want to enjoy some treetop adrenaline, epic zipline adventures and confidence building fun? How about doing all of this while enjoying a sea view or spotting the largest deer herd in Wales?
Here is the Go Ape Manager, Scott Martin, to tell us what makes the Go Ape, in Margam Country Park, so very special.
“Our Go Ape is the only Go Ape in the country that boasts a sea view, and it is nestled in 1000 acres of beautifully-maintained parklands – the grounds of the historic Margam Castle. Our visitors love the location and the atmosphere of Margam but, of course, they really come here for the adventure, the personal challenge, and the chance to take on the challenge of the biggest Tarzan Swing – with an incredible six metre free fall into a net, and lots of other fun adventures.
“We welcome families, hen and stag parties, we host a lot of team-building days, and the thing that all our visitors have in common is that they leave us with a smile on their face. Our Treetop Challenge challenges people and puts them out of their comfort zone a bit – it really helps people to gain confidence while they’re having fun. This is great for adults as well as for children.
“We have all had an unusual couple of years where we haven’t been able to do many of the trips and activities we had planned, so now, I feel people are starting to let their hair down and are determined to enjoy themselves, so we are getting busy again. I think people have also rediscovered their own backyard a little more. We have all been spending more time at home in Britain and I think our eyes have been opened to what we have on offer and just how beautiful locations like Margam Country Park are. We are lucky to have it and I would encourage anyone to come along and enjoy Go Ape – you will get a warm welcome.”
