Things to See and Do

When nature has provided a playground as good as ours, we reckon it’d be foolish not to give it a try.

Neath Port Talbot offers a wide mix of things to see and do, with options to suit every kind of pace. Whether you enjoy exploring the outdoors, getting active, discovering local culture or simply taking in the scenery, there are plenty of ways to shape your perfect day out. There are gentle walking routes, panoramic viewpoints, beaches, forests, attractions and creative spaces, there is always something new to uncover.

Those looking for adventure will find dedicated mountain biking trails in Afan Forest Park, ranging from relaxed woodland loops to more technical sections for confident riders. On the coast, the eastern end of Aberavon Beach is a popular choice for surfers when conditions are right.

Alongside activities and attractions, you will also find plenty of places to eat, including beachside cafés, cosy tearooms, local pubs and relaxed restaurants, making it easy to plan a full day out.

Use the filters below to browse things to see and do. There is also a dog friendly filter and an interactive map to help you check the location of each activity, place to eat or attraction.
