Afan Trail Volunteers

Afan Valley

Afan Trail Volunteers are a passionate community of riders and locals who give their time, energy and expertise to keep the Afan Valley’s mountain‑bike trails in great condition. Their work takes them out across the forest, repairing sections after bad weather, clearing overgrowth, improving drainage, fundraising for materials and helping make sure the trails stay safe, enjoyable and ready for anyone who wants to ride them.

They’re a friendly, hands‑on group who care deeply about the valley and its outdoor spaces. Whether you’re a regular rider or simply someone who loves seeing the Afan trails thrive, the group is always happy to welcome new faces to their dig days and community events. Every bit of support helps protect this world‑class riding destination so that future visitors can enjoy the same sense of freedom, flow and connection to the landscape.
