The Gwyn Hall
Neath
The Gwyn Hall stands in the centre of Neath and has long been one of the town’s main arts and entertainment venues. First opened in 1887 and fully refurbished in 2012, it now offers a modern and flexible space that hosts a wide mix of events including comedy, drama, dance, children’s performances and live music.
The main theatre seats 384 and runs a varied programme throughout the year. The venue also doubles as a first release cinema, showing the latest films along with special screenings from National Theatre Live and the Royal Opera House.
On the ground floor, The Place café bar sits within the glass atrium and provides a relaxed spot for drinks, snacks and light meals before or after a show. The building is designed with families in mind and includes accessible facilities across all floors, with lift access and designated seating available for those who need it.
